First and foremost, I absolutely hate writing and almost everything that has to do with it. Writing never came easy for me and remains as a constant struggle. Ever since grammar school, English was my worst subject and continues to be today. My goal this semester is to pass portfolio, improve as a writer, and become more confident with my writing. Unfortunately, I didn't pass final portfolio for CPN 100 first semester of my freshman year; thus, I had to take CPN 100 again the following semester. Taking CPN 100 twice last semester is something I definitely don't want to do again. Hopefully, I will be successful in this class the first time around with the help of my professional tutor. For those who find writing as aggravating and painful as I do, I highly recommend the professional tutors at ASAP. I know I sound like a huge nerd, but they really did help. I passed CPN 100 with flying colors the second time around. Sorry to bore you with this unentertaining blog. I'm just doing my best to complete 300 words as soon as possible.
Despite my lack of writing abilities, I do have strengths in other areas. Subject wise, I really enjoy science and it's my strongest subject. I am a Childhood Education major and decided to concentrate in Biology. I still have to decided whether I want to be a high school teacher or be that crazy science teacher you usually have back in elementry school. I'm leaning more towards little kids because I absolutely love working with them. Over the summer I lifeguard at my local town pool, and I help teach 4 years olds and older kids how to swim. They constantly make me laugh when they don't even mean to. Working with them just makes working 48 hour weeks well worth it; besides the pay, of course.
When I'm not working or doing school work, I promise you I'm not this big loser that my first blog probably portrays me to be. I'm shy until you get to know me. I love my life with all its ups and downs and even though I can't always make sense of it; I honestly believe that everything happens for a reason. I live for laughter, loud music, and the days spent doing little things that make me smile with the people who mean the world to me. I'm athletic. Throughout middle school and high school I played soccer, basketball, volleyball, winter and spring track. However, I couldn't play all of those sports in high school; therefore, I stuck with soccer in the fall because I've been playing all my life. In the winter and spring I joined track to keep in shape until soccer season started up again.
In addition, music and art is a huge part of my life. I honestly don't know what I would do without it. I listen to pretty much everything. However, I have a better liking for Rock/Classic Rock and Reggae. Friends and family play an even bigger role in my crazy life. I woudln't be the same person I am today if I didn't have them by myside. I'm so thankful and blessed that I have them in my life. Yeah, that definately was really corny. Oh well, at least my 300 words are finally up. Haha.

Kate,
Hey, repeating a course sucks.
But you're right--ASAP rocks, and getting better each year. Highly recommended!
The most interesting blog I read so far. You seem to be a very outgoing person, not the loser you claim not to be. Anyways, Biology was fun, but when you major in it it's another ball park. There are so many things to understand that the basics. That why I'm now a business major. Good Luck!
